ANTIQUE AMERICAN COIN SILVER ~ Albert Coles

Here is an 11-3/4" long coin silver fish slice with top-serrated blade, made by Albert Coles (eagle, A/C, bust mark), New York, NY, c. 1835-50.  The blade is ornately engraved on the front with a bird dog chasing a pheasant in flight.  The other side of the blade is unengraved. The hollow handle is monogrammed with a W on the front, and MWM on the back, and will complement both Beaded and Olive pattern flatware.
