|
Rare multicolored set of 12 Lenox / CAC bouillon soup bowls. (The Ceramic Arts Co. transitioned to Lenox in 1905.) The CAC liners have wreaths, crossed torches, and bows in raised gold. The pale sea-green border also appears on the outside of the rim, along with more decoration. Additional coloration includes pink, green, yellow, blue, and purple -- all on a white background, not the usual cream color associated with Lenox. Liner dimensions are: 4" rim diameter, 2 1/16" height, 1 3/4" base. The 12 sterling holders were made by Gorham, in the A21 pattern, which features a vertical openwork pattern with beaded rim.
*** PLEASE NOTE that 1 CAC liner is chipped on the outside rim (pictured) and 2 liners are plain cream and gold Lenox liners to make a set of 12. Click on the image to see larger pictures (a separate window will pop up).
