This is an exceptional set of 11 Minton hand-painted fish plates made for Tiffany & Co. Each one was painted and signed by the artist, J. E. Dean. The diameter is 8 3/4", and the pattern number is RA1746.
The fish represented in this set (as indicated on the backs of the plates) include: trout, pouting, bream, mouth-breather, haddock, John dory, pike, salmon trout, shad, mackerel, and sprat.
